We all work together to make sure we have everything we need and any advice is always free at hand. I have a Bibby uniform this saves my own clothes from the toils of work and makes me feel part of a team.
Warehouse Operations Manager, 17 years’ service
I joined Bibby after 17 years at a previous company, moving from your comfort zone after such a long time was daunting.
On moving to Bibby my first challenge was working in a warehouse that wasn’t going to be my end role so for three months I worked with new people, customers and systems to assist and support on improvements and to be honest it was an eye opener.
The people where great, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble when it came to me asking questions or wanting some assistance.
I have been respected by other managers and my ideas embraced and some even implemented. It doesn’t make me feel I am wasting my time or energy when putting forward ideas. Working for Bibby has brought me a number of work and personal challenges that I have overcome and I don’t ever feel it is a chore to come to work.
Driver, 2 years service
Whilst I started the 1st 3 months of my career with Bibby as a driver, after having 10 years away from the wheel I progressed into the office as a compliance officer. In both roles I was given the equipment I needed to do my job to the highest of standards.
Working life @ Bibbys is full of challenges but there is always someone on hand should you need assistance or a guiding hand. There is ample opportunity for training and progression with in the network.
Both from my driving and office roles I can see the efforts made to ensure Bibby run green and efficient and the retraining where needed to ensure myself and my drivers are always ahead of the legal curve.
From vehicle telematics and tacho infringements to DCPC training everything Bibby does is to keep the fleet and the drivers legal and safe.
